CONTROL OF HARVESTING SITES AND QUALITY

Pine nuts from trusted suppliers in Western and Eastern Siberia.
Incoming raw materials undergo organoleptic control, removal of mechanical impurities and spoiled nuts. Radiation and biological control. 

DELICATE TREATMENT

To preserve the maximum amount of nutrients and ensure long-term freshness of the nut kernel, we use state-of-the-art technologies for cleaning and heat treatment, by excluding the washing of already shelled nuts.

ADVANCED EQUIPMENT

The production site is fitted with advanced equipment that makes it possible to make a high-quality product and to divide it into quality grades, excluding the insertion of even the smallest foreign matters.

CAREFUL STORAGE

We store raw materials in a warehouse with the necessary air temperature and humidity, ventilation, lighting, and observance of sanitary standards. We use vacuum packaging which stops (until opening) the oxidation process

ORGANIC CERTIFICATE

The production site of Siberian Cedar Eco-Factory has obtained the Organic Bio Certificate under European standards for six product items. The Certificate guarantees that the products collected in the Kenginsky Area of the Tomsk Region contain at least 95% of components grown in accordance with the biodynamic cropping standards. Now it will be marked with a special green leaf logo.

WE ARE FOR THE PURITY AND ETHICS OF OUR PRODUCTS

For products marked with the Organic Bio Certificate, we collect Siberian pine cones in an environmentally clean zone (Kenginsky Area, Tomsk Region), far from settlements and industrial enterprises, in forests where no chemical treatment against pests has been carried out in the past 3 years.

THE CERTIFICATE COVERS SIX PRODUCT ITEMS

1. Organic wild cedar cones (Pinus sibirica);
2. Pine nuts in shells;
3. Shelled pine nuts;
4. Pine nut oil;
5. Pine nut flour;
6. Pine nut oil cake.

Dwarf pine nut is characterised by a small kernel size and a special coniferous taste.
